The Glimchase game is single-player and offline: it collects, stores, and transmits no personal information. This website is a separate matter — its support form and its optional analytics are covered below.

What Glimchase stores on your Mac

High scores (the initials you type, the score, the level, and the date) plus your settings: volume levels, the mute flag, fullscreen, the FPS readout, colorblind colors, and reduce motion. All of it lives inside the app's sandbox container at ~/Library/Containers/com.glimchase.glimchase/Data/Library/Application Support/ and is removed when you uninstall the app.

What Glimchase sends over the network

The game sends no data. It is sandboxed without network entitlements and cannot make outbound connections. It has no analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry of any kind.

The support form on this website

When you submit the contact form at glimchase.com/support, the name, email address, subject, and message you typed are written to our Google Firebase project — a Firestore database hosted in the European Union — and handed to our email provider, which delivers one copy to our support inbox and one back to you as an automatic acknowledgement. The stored copies are deleted a year after they are queued.

So the form cannot be used to send bulk mail, we also record the IP address a submission arrived from, along with the times that address submitted, and refuse more than three messages an hour from it. That record is kept for as long as the form is running.

All of it is used only to answer you and to keep the form working. Beyond the hosting and email providers that carry the message for us, we do not share it with anyone, and we never use it for marketing.

Analytics on this website

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, this website uses Google Analytics (via Firebase) to count page views and referrer sources so we can see whether the site is reaching anyone. No information is shared with advertisers and no profile is built. Click Decline and no analytics cookies are set; your choice persists in your browser's local storage.

The Glimchase macOS app itself does not include any analytics. The policy above applies only to this website.

Children

Glimchase is rated suitable for all audiences and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
